Big Time Cafe

This restaurant is not much to look at on the out side but don’t hesitate to go inside. A quaint little place, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful with the menu. They have plates with lots of vegetables that are fresh made, not from a can. The pinto beans are wonderful and fried okra was cooked to perfection. Definitely get the bacon cheese burger, fat juicy hamburger topped with tons of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. One thing I will do next time is ask to skip the mustard and ketchup when they bring it out, only because it is so big I had to cut it in half to eat it. FYI: Put your condiments on after it is halved. The Baby bakers are little whole potatoes that are deep fried and are delicious! Like little baked potatoes. With some ranch dressing they melt in your mouth. I had to try the chocolate pie. Just like my grandmother use to make with three inches of homemade meringue browned on the top. This is real chocolate pie, nothing instant about it. If you like chocolate don’t pass on dessert, get the pie. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff was over the top friendly, they even came out of the kitchen to visit. We will make the drive to eat here again.

Tonight, the plan was to find a great burger and see some Christmas lights....well, this place served up one heck of a burger! As soon as you walk in, it smells like an old time cafe. Staff is super friendly! Jamie served my daughter and me. Fried pickle fries are a must. I don’t know where this ranch is from but it is the best ranch I’ve tasted. The bacon cheeseburger, well it was tasty and huge! I could only eat half!! Onion rings delish!! Curly fries—YES!!!! Cheesecake.....if you don’t get it you will regret it!! This is what a real American cafe is supposed to be like!!! Big applause! One of the best places I have ever eaten!!

Amazing Breakfast Experience! We had the best breakfast today at Big Time Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious, and my kids ate everything on their plates—nothing left behind! A special shoutout to the cook for preparing such a fantastic meal. Every bite was perfect. The service was also outstanding. Our coffee cups were always full, and the coffee stayed hot throughout our entire meal. The attention to detail really made the experience special. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. May God continue to bless your establishment with success and continued excellence. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

This place serves the absolute best burger—hands down! When I say the best, I truly mean it. You won’t find a better one within 100 miles! The meat is perfectly tender, incredibly juicy, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is just as amazing, with friendly waitstaff and welcoming customers that make you feel right at home. I can’t get enough of this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!

Awesome little hole in the wall. Burgers are huge! Fried food was amazing. Brought out a whole pitcher of ranch for the table! Will definitely eat here again?!

One of the 3 best burgers in Alabama!! Can't begin to describe how good, but the burgers are hand pattied to order, the lettuce and tomatoes are exceptionally fresh. The staff is very friendly and the setting is old school country diner 10 out of 10 experience!!!!

The tator tots and onion rings were to die for, and the hamburgers were good. If they could add a little seasoning to the burgers like all season, a little onion powder, and garlic powder, the hamburgers would be fantastic! The buns were toasted, and all food was freshly made. Overall, everything we ate was very good and we will definitely will go back there!

Wife and I stopped here today as we visited the local state park. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Wife ordered the BLT, fried mushrooms, and corn nuggets. I had fried livers, curley fries, and fried okra. Both meals were prepared fresh and came out piping hot!! The cafe had great southern charm and was very clean! A must stop if you are in the area!
